What a jam! Keep making us happy like that! Beyond the equipment I love, I also have 2 other formula B pedals (super plexi and vintage vibe), what a game!!!! Well done! 👏🏻
Kris Barocsi + fuzz = awesome tone. But wait, there is a way to make it legendary - just add that tele and KoT to the equation😎. Great tone, great guitar phrases, pure musical joy.
Thanks a ton!! Yeah at one point it's bound to become "legendary". I've seen the fuzz and the KoT sitting in the corner, narrowing in on each other, haha! It will happen. Probably already tomorrow. 😆
I bought one a year ago and yes, it’s perfect. Even with humbuckers. I’m a big fan of treble boosters and this is the best i’ve ever found. The fuzz side it’s very dynamic and both together are really fun! 😂
You are loving treble booster part of fuzz. ;) Thats the magic about the pedal imho. You even played Queen at the end, and Britan May using treble boosters like forever. ;)
Great video. Normally i dont like fuzz pedals. They just take over the sound to much. But this pedal is great when the fuzz sound just colour the sound a little bit and suddenly its magic wow awesome
Hey man, yeah that's absolutely true. A fuzz has a very strong effect on the tone even though it's such a simple circuit. That's why fuzz lovers are so keen on finding the right fuzz for a song / rig / tone. For example I usually end up loving Fuzz Face type fuzzes that clean up well and have some dynamics with a nice bloom to the note. And nice harmonics. And and and... 😅 Yeah, I guess I've grown to love good fuzzes.
Hi Chris! Excellent demonstration of this pedal, which piques my curiosity. I have two short questions. Have you noticed that the fuzz side tends to compress too much with a loss of volume on an already saturated amp? I have this problem with most of my fuzzes. Does the treble booster hold its own against other treble boosters like Catalinbread's Naga Viper?
Great review Kris! I wanted to hear how it sounds with just the treble boost engaged, but maybe next time… tricky desert island question: between the Fuzz Rangers and the Kasleder Vintage King, which one would you choose?
My fav. FUZZ ... hm ... currently the Tech21 Character+ Muff (comes with the Hiwatt type pedal) is my goto FUZZ ... but this one really shines when using all true bypass pedals in front (in OFF position) yeah ... so not as easy going as this one ...
This pedal is sooo good! The maker really has great ears and the build quality is very very good. Mine has an extra toggle to switch between "fuzz face" and "square face" as well.. PS: if you are reading this, could you please tell me what guitar strap that is? Looks ace!
It's a great fuzz, absolutely! Do you mean the strap for the strat? It's a Fender cotton strap I bought years ago, I don't think it's still available. At least I can't find it anymore. Cheers!
It’s a ton of fun and even handles chords super well. If you played any of the current Fuzz Faces, you know that that’s not always the case. 😅 I have the LP in D standard for an upcoming anniversary show with my old metal band.🤘I have DR Tite Fit 11-52 on the guitar and it feels perfect. It’s like 10‘s for E standard.
Dude, I need this box! How many watts is it? Does it have a sweet spot? Is it transgender friendly? Nonbinary? Can it get Eddy's "negro sound"? Asking for a friend
I get it buddy. I used to feel just like that. After a while I started loving the sound but I still hated playing fuzzes. 😂 Then after years of testing I found the fuzz pedals that really work for me. It's the weirdest journey for a guitarist, this fuzz adventure, haha.
@@KrisBarocsiI think the fuzz sounds from my multi effects through the years gave me a false idea of how it actually works.. Same with many amps. Once I've played the real thing there's no going back. The Fuzz Ranger was a gamechanger - one of my favorite pieces of gear
Haha, sorry I forgot to do it this time. Don’t worry, I’m going to use this one a lot, also with the tele. Btw. I already recorded two fuzz parts (with this and the tele) for the album. Sounds amazing.
@@KrisBarocsi ... you seem to have fun with this great box ... me likes this one too ... great sounds esp. with single coils ... really can't blame you for using that reversed headstock Strat to do this FUZZ justice
The perfect fuzz does exist...it's the RAT, with the Distortion+ a close second (if used the right way). Lovely demo as always, Kris.
You made that pedal sound great, Kris, I love your demos. As far as which Fuzz’s I own; Big Muff Triangle, Pedal Pawn Fuzz and the Pedal Pawn Octone
Thanks dude!! Wow, that is a sweet selection of fuzz pedals. Really good taste! 🙌

I’ve got this fuzz since long time and I love it soooooo much ❤
Great sounding fuzz.
Sounds great and the little added features seem to be really useful 🤠

Totally agree! The way the sides work together is just magical. And how different they sound depending on the order... it's crazy.
woah that one is really cool Kris , really have a nice fuuzzzzzzzzzzz sound hehe
😆 yeah, agreed.
10:54 fucking love the sound - fat drive/disto/fuzzy roar!

awesome demo! Doe the boost knob increase volume?

It's sounds awesome... especially with humbuckers. Can you tell me the "right" string gauge on your les paul and how they feel in a D standard tuning?

Hello I've got this fuzz pedal its brilliant but the volume is so massive i have it set on one fuzz knob is maxed go figure

I don't need another fuzz. I DO NOT need another fuzz...
😂 😅
Why can’t I get along with fuzz??? I guess im just a distortion overdrive kinda guy ??

Nice and more usable than the originals ... but perfect?
Prove it by putting a Tele into the box
